Acer has announced a new display geared toward photographer and other creatives. The ProDesigner PE320QK is a 31.5-inch, 4K display that helps you see high-resolution photos in detail.

Announced at the Next@Acer event in New York City, the monitor features a number of technologies that photo editors may appreciate.

Acer has built-in its HDR Xpert technology that enhances brightness “for a vivid contrast between lights and darks, while covering a wider gamut for truly vibrant colors,” the company says. The monitor supports 130% of the sRGB space and 95% of DCI-P3. It also produces accurate colors with a low Delta E < 1.

There's also a VisionCare feature that helps to reduce a photographer's eye strain and fatigue while doing marathon photo editing sessions.

Aesthetically, the display has a modern design, as Acer's ZeroFrame technology allows it to have minimal bezel around the edges, providing a "seamless visual experience."

Other specs and features include 550 nits of brightness, a 4ms response time, a 100 million to 1 contrast ratio, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2, 4 USB-C inputs (including a reversible one that can charge devices with a power output up to 85W), and audio out.

Packaged with the monitor are two 2W speakers and a removable anti-glare hood. No word yet on price or availability.
