In Newcastle, UK, the annual VRTGO Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) conference and expo, organised by Secret Sauce, is held to showcase the best in virtual reality (VR). It brings the best and brightest from across the country for a day of talks and demonstrations on the latest VR tech. Now VRTGO has announced a new endeavour, the first VRTGO Developer Day.

This new one day conference is aimed squarely at developers currently working in VR or for those looking to get into creating VR content. Attendees will learn from technical experts, surgeries and each other to hone their skills whilst testing VR videogames and experiences. The day will be very technical, designed for programmers who wish to become far more adept with VR creation and coding.

The full list of speakers has yet to be announced but currently representatives from PlayStation VR and Coatsink Software will be there. Coatsink are the team behind Samsung Gear VR titles Esper and Esper 2.

The VRTGO Developer Day will be taking place on Thursday 3rd, March 2016, at Northern Design Centre, Abbott’s Hill Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, Newcastle, UK, NE8 3DF. Tickets are already available with early bird VR developer day passes on sale for £53.28 GBP until 3rd February. Aside from the conference and expo there will also be an after party to network and continue all those discussions on VR.

VRFocus will keep you informed on any further speaker announcements for the VRTGO developer day as they’re released.
