Last week saw indie developer Carlos Coronado launch an updated version of his first-person adventure videogame MIND: Path to Thalamus on PC with MIND: Path to Thalamus Enhanced Edition. Remade from scratch using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4, the new version of the title added the long-anticipated support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) and HTC Vive along with a host of other features. But PC isn’t the only platform that will enjoy this new edition of the title.

Among other systems, MIND: Path to Thalamus Enhanced Edition also on its way to PlayStation 4, where it’s expected to support the PlayStation VR HMD. In fact, Coronado recently shared that this version of the title – along with an Xbox One edition – is in its ‘final development stages’. As such news on the release date for the console versions can be expected in the near future. PlayStation VR itself isn’t expected until the first half of 2016, however, so it could be that the title will launch before the support is included.

MIND: Path to Thalamus is a story-driven experience in which players can solve puzzles by manipulating weather.

VRFocus will continue to follow MIND: Path to Thalamus Enhanced Edition closely, reporting back with the latest updates on the project.
