Do not let the name of today’s New To VR item, Casa Brutale, fool you. Yes it may conjures up for you the image psychological thriller set in deserted holiday complex but the reality is much less tame. Though possibly as mind-bending.
Firstly, Casa Brutale is not a game but a virtual reality (VR) representation of an architectual concept, one that, on the face of it would likely appeal to the mega rich or volcano loving super-villain niche. For you see Casa Brutale isn’t any ordinary home, it’s designed to exist inside a cliff on an Aegean island.
That’s right – inside a cliff.
Although, naturally, probably not for everyone it’s still a pretty stunning piece of architectural concept design and one you can visit thanks as an Oculus VR Share experience from 20secondstosun, so long as you have a pre-0.6 SDK running Oculus Rift DK1 or DK2.
