VRFocus has reported on the various machines and pieces of hardware that benefit the use of virtual reality (VR) as well as its development, and now its demo, MSI Electric City, is available to download for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

Throughout MSI Electric City, it seems as though the main mode of transport is via spaceship, although the screenshots show futuristic and scenic views. The whole point of the experience is to explore and travel around. “MSI Electric City is a virtual reality sci-fi seated experience where you are transported to a futuristic city never seen before. Discover magnificent scenery and soar through wondrous architectures.”

On MSI’s VR website it details more of what the experience has been created by and for, which is much more in line with its development of hardware: “Created by Unreal Engine 4, MSI Electric City is a new VR experience with detailed lights and shades, magnificent scenery and architectures. Integrated with the original music production and the best visual & sound effects, MSI Electric City takes the players to a futuristic city they have never seen before.”

The title is available to download for free now on Steam.
