There have been a few teasers of what virtual reality (VR) demos and features there will be at the Insomnia58 event taking place in the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, UK. Now it has been revealed that the tickets have now been reduced by 30% of their original price tag.

Although the weekend festival tickets have now been sold out, the tickets were originally priced at £25 (GBP) for a day visitor ticket but are now $17.50. All other tickets, it seems, are either at the same price or have been sold out.

VRFocus previously reported on two major VR companies who will be attending Insomnia58, so attendees will have a chance to try out VR in a big way. The first to confirm its part at the event was HTC who allow attendees to pre-book their slot for the all-new VR section, which will offer access to “exclusive content and games on the HTC Vive.”, which presumably will be vast for it to have its own section.

As well as HTC, Rebellion will also be demoing its major VR title, Battlezone, which was announced by Multiplay, the organisers of Insomnia58, at the end of July.

The tickets detailed above will get you into the event which will run from 26th til the 29th August, comparing itself to the likes of E3 and Gamescom.
