In just under two weeks time the San Francisco Virtual Reality (SFVR) meetup will be holding its twelfth event on Saturday, 20th, February 2016. VRFocus previously reported on PhaseSpace demoing its virtual reality (VR) experience there, and now more details on what to expect have been announced.

SFVR #12 will feature exhibitors and speakers from across the VR industry for the one day event. Holding short talks will be: Dimitri Diakopoulos from Intel on Mobile VR Development with Intel RealSense, discussing useful info about depth cameras and VR; Tony Parisi from Wevr presenting the latest on Wevr’s content and platform; Liv Erickson from Microsoft with an open call for developer video interviews to appear on Just A/VR Show; Mark Piszczor talking about Occipital’s Structure Sensor Mixed Reality Bridge Engine; Timothy Sun from Whirlwind VR will be soft launching the Whirlwind VR air haptic system and Douglas Blumeyer on experimental VR vocab. Learn the meanings of opture, watchlines, fenestragraphy, and more.

On the exhibitor side there will be: OSSIC, realities.io, BrainFizz VR LLC, StarflightVR, V, XEOPlay, BinaryVR, SculptrVR, Lucid VR, Rubberneckers and Surround OS. Further exhibitors are also due to be announced.
