There are an overwhelming number of virtual reality (VR) events situated across the globe now but, if you’re living in Los Angeles, California and have a passion for the tech, chances are you might have been to a Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) expo over the past year. 2015 saw the event turn into a seasonal one, with the winter showcase being held just a few weeks ago. Announced today, the summer event is now being planned, and will boast some significant changes for the show.

The biggest change is that VRLA is moving from a one-day to a two-day event, hosted on 5th and 6th August 2016. The show will now also be moved to West Hall B of the LA Convention Center, the very same building in which E3 2016 will have been held just a few months before in June. As such, the event is set to host over 100 VR exhibitors.

Tickets will be going on sale at 10:00 PST on 7th April 2016 and will offer a one-day pass for the Saturday. The two-day pass will be limited in number, with the Friday being focused on businesses. Exhibitors are yet to be announced, but expect plenty of news in this field as the event draws nearer.
