By the time both the 2016 Virtual Reality Developers Conference (VRDC) and Game Developers Conference (GDC) roll around from 14th – 18th March 2016, the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) will be just around a week away from launching. That also means that ADR1FT, the anticipated space survival adventure from Three One Zero, will also be gearing up to launch as a release title for the platform. It will no doubt be a busy time for studio founder Adam Orth, then, but that isn’t stopping him from hosting a talk at the shows.

Orth will be running a talk titled ‘Rebel Rebel: Challenging the Rules of VR’ which will take place at an unrevealed date and time.

“With the impending commercial release of Virtual Reality HMD’s and platforms, game developers all over the world are creating new and ambitious virtual reality games and experiences,” the official description reads. “With the advent of this groundbreaking technology, new rules for virtual reality are being quickly established by developers, hardware manufacturers and platform owners.

“Adam Orth will examine compare, contrast and challenge these new established rules based on the experience of creating, building and executing the vision of Three One Zero’s virtual reality game experience ADR1FT.”
