With the launch of the new consumer version now a few months old and plenty of big releases under its belt, you might worry that  big releases for the Gear VR mobile-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) might start to dry up in 2016. That’s especially worrying considering bigger HMDs for PCs and consoles will soon be arriving. There is at least one promising new title heading to the HMD outside out VRFocusOnes to Watch list, however. That title is Neverout, which is launching this month.

Developed by SETAPP, Neverout is a first-person puzzler, a new trailer for which can be seen below. Players will be tasked with solving puzzles in a series of rooms. These rooms resembled padded cells, and can be flipped, allowing the player to walk on the ceiling and walls in order to get in the correct position. Each time they complete a challenge they’ll be able to move through to another room. As they progress the trials will intensify with spike pits, moveable crates and electrified surfaces.

A price and specific launch date for the title are yet to be announced. For the latest updates on Neverout and all other VR titles, keep reading VRFocus.
