Back in December 2015 VRFocus reported that virtual reality (VR) marketing agency Virtual Umbrella had teamed up with London-based university sector college Ravensbourne to host a new event dedicated to VR film. That event is VRUK, set to take place from 10th – 11th February 2016 and offering talks, workshops and exhibitions featuring the latest 360 degree movies and more. VRFocus recently spoke with the company’s Bertie Millis about the upcoming show.

In the interview below Millis reflects on Virtual Umbrella’s beginnings last year and what its overall aims are. He also details VRUK itself, discussing what attendees have to look forward to. Tickets to VRUK are on sale now and cost £149 GBP. An early bird student offer is also available for £99 and will run until 9th February 2016.
