VRFocus has kept a close eye on virtual reality (VR) compatible sci-fi explorer, The Solus Project. Developed by Hourences and Grip Games, the title has been released in episodes on Steam Early Access since February this year. Now the team are preparing to leave early access and launch the videogame in its entirety, so prior to that a bunch of updates have now gone live.

The title will fully arrive tomorrow (7th June), and as previous updates have shown The Solus Project supports both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive head-mounted displays (HMDs).

This latest addition of updates doesn’t specifically mention either for the two supported HMDs, rather generalising an overall update path for VR. These latest improvements include reducing the walk speed to 0 percent which enables blink movement, basic tutorial screens and a higher jump mechanic where players can look up to gain extra height.

The full changelog of updates can be found below, and VRFocus will continue to bring you the latest on The Solus Project.
