Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE’s) PlayStation VR Asia Conference today wasn’t a big or bombastic affair, and fairly short in comparison to its other press conferences at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) or the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year. But there was still good news for customers in Asia, with the announcement of pre-order pricing and release details. While the conference did focus on most of the big titles already revealed at GDC and E3, SIE did announce a bunch of experiences being created by local developers.

Eleven videogames were unveiled a couple were already known about while most of them are brand new. From Chinese developers there’s Ace Banana; MIXIP; Kill X VR; Weeping Doll; Pixel Gear; Dying Reborn, Phantom World. From Singapore is Stifled, while from Taiwan there was O! My Genesis VR; The Occasional Encounter and Unearthing Mars.

O! My Genesis VR comes from XPEC Entertainment and Bad Bird, previously being announced back in January. While Time of Virtual Reality’s Ace Banana made an appearance at E3 2016.

SIE didn’t go into any more details on the other videogames, with no developer details or trailers to showcase the titles. Also missing was an indication on how many of these projects would possibly see a worldwide release, or whether they’ll solely be for the Asian market.

At E3 2016 SIE made an announcement that over 50 videogames would release for PlayStation VR between launch day and the end of the year. Nothing was said at the press conference today on whether customers in Asia would also be getting a similar roster of titles.

VRFocus will continue its PlayStation VR coverage, reporting back with the latest news on the head-mounted display (HMD).
