Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE’s) PlayStation 4 console has dominated in sales over rival Microsoft and its Xbox One. Especially so in SIE’s native Japan where the Xbox brand has never really managed to get a foothold. With the country being such an important market for SIE, it’s no surprise that with the release of PlayStation VR only three months away advertising efforts are being increased and this week a brand new trailer for the head-mounted display (HMD) launched.

The video showcases Into The Deep, VR Luge, The London Heist, Scavengers Odyssey and Danger Ball, all part of the PlayStation VR Worlds compilation, RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X HD, Summer Lesson, The Playroom VR, Eagle Flight, Rez Infinite, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, VR Tennis Online, Fly to KUMA, Resident Evil 7 biohazard and  Final Fantasy XV VR Experience.

A good portion of those have been confirmed for the headset’s worldwide launch on 13th October 2016, with titles like Resident Evil 7 biohazard given a release date in early 2017. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X HD and Summer Lesson are currently looking to be Asian only releases, with no western availability confirmed.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of PlayStation VR, reporting back with any further announcement.
