It’s been a busy weekend for all things PlayStation as Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has hosted its second ever PlayStation Experience fan event in San Francisco in California. PlayStation VR, the company’s upcoming virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4, has played a big role at the event, with plenty of new announcements. Many of these new titles are on display along with some other more familiar experiences in a brand new montage trailer for the device, which can now be seen below.
Each of this week’s newly announced titles is on display in the montage below. That includes No Goblin’s insane 100ft Robot Golf, the return of a Sega classic with Rez Infinite, Ubisoft’s VR debut Eagle Flight, the hilarious The Modern Zombie Taxi Co., Highwire Games’ fantastical Golem, the resurrection of a famous flight franchise in Ace Combat 7, and Double Fine’s big surprise in Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin. Glimpses of each title can be seen, taken from the larger trailers that each has received this weekend.
In terms of experiences already revealed there’s Guerrilla Cambridge’s RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, CCP Games’ EVE: Valkyrie, Reload Studios’ World War Toons, Frame Interactive’s Headmaster, Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, Crytek’s Robinson: The Journey, SCE London’s London Heist, Uber Entertainment’s Wayward Sky, Rebellion’s Battlezone, and Super HyperCube. That’s plenty of experiences just for one trailer, though it is missing other announcements such as the PlayStation VR port of Job Simulator.
