Sometimes the more popular and eye-catching experiences come from unlikely sounding products. However, if one videogame has proven itself to generate interest it is Owlchemy Labs’ quirky title Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives.

Coming to the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and announced for the PlayStation VR last December, Job Simulator will feature five virtual environments where you will be able to interact with the themed world around you – be it the kitchen of a gourmet chef, working the tills as a convenience store clerk. Now, tying in with the brand new build brought by Owlchemy Labs to the Steam VR Developer Showcase the studio has released a new gameplay clip showcasing the reworked Kitchen level.

The clip shows a user putting together a steak sandwich (of sorts) for a customer in a restaurant and being very liberal with what is happening with the food. Things are certainly somewhat different here than the previous version of the Kitchen, both in the form and the function. You can see the video below.

VRFocus will continue to bring you news regarding Owlchemy Labs and their VR debut Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives as we get it.
