Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) is continuing the reveal of new content from The Playroom VR with the first official gameplay footage from another of its mini-games, Monster Escape. The first mini-game revealed from the compilation, Monster Escape casts one player as a monster, using PlayStation VR, battling against up to 4 adversaries who share a television screen.
This new gameplay footage shows a direct comparison between what the player wearing the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD) and the team on the television can see. Reminiscent of the GameCube’s Pac-Man Vs. or the Wii U launch title, Nintendo Land, those players unified on a single screen must work together to defeat the single player with a different viewpoint.
Three mini-games from The Playroom VR have been revealed thus far: Monster Escape, Ghost House and Cat n’ Mouse. The gameplay footage of Monster Escape can be seen below, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming release of The Playroom VR.
