The popular Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) event which held its last event in August is returning in January 2016 for its Winter Expo. Organisers have now announced more exhibitors attending the event.

New to the VRLA Winter Expo line-up are IM360, Virtuix, Simlens, Side-kick Games, SmartTheater, and Immersive Entertainment. IM360 is the 360 degree technology company behind American Express’ UNSTAGED: The Taylor Swift Experience and MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs). Virtuix create the Virtuix Omni, a omni-directional treadmill that aids movement in virtual reality (VR) environments. Simlens is a Chinese-based VR company. While Side-Kick Games is a large videogame development studio in Israel that has recently announced several new publishing partnerships. And Immersive Entertainment who launched exploration title The Grand Canyon VR Experience on Steam’s Early Access system back in October.

The VRLA will be returning for its third event at the LA Convention Center and Petree Hall, with the Winter Expo being held on January 23rd 2016. Tickets are still available to buy but all the Early Bird prices for students and general attendees are no longer available.
