Digital Howard a Toronto, Canada-based digital entertainment company is currently developing and augmented reality (AR) title called Terracosm. Today marketing communications agency ChizComm Ltd has announced that its been brought in by Digital Howard as strategic consultants to help launch the app-based sci-fi gaming experience.

As consultants ChizComm will spearhead all of the PR and marketing efforts surrounding the launch of the Terracosm experience, focused on four pilot markets in both Canada and the US.

“Entering the world of augmented and virtual reality with industry veterans Digital Howard is an exciting moment for ChizComm,” said Harold Chizick, President and CEO, ChizComm Ltd. “This technology will bring a new level of excitement and entertainment to the science center experience and we are thrilled to be a part of this project.”

Terracosm has been designed in a comic-book style, to complement existing offerings at science centres. It’s focused on fostering an interest and fascination in STEM subject matter in kids aged 6-11, and the project recently received $1 million CAD in funding through the Canadian Media Fund’s experimental stream.
