Fans of Oculus VR and Samsung’s mobile virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD), Gear VR, were expecting to see one of the biggest videogame releases on the platform to date at the end of October 2015. Ustwo Games, the developer behind the popular mobile puzzle adventure, Monument Valley, was set to launch its debut VR title named Land’s End onto the platform on 30th October 2015. Of course, fans will have noticed that didn’t quite happen. That said, they won’t have to wait too much longer to finally get their hands on the title.

Ustwo Games recently took to Twitter to confirm that Land’s End‘s release has been pushed back to 10th November 2015. “We’re taking a few extra days to perfect #landsendgame – it will now be released on November 10th,” the studio noted. “We can’t wait to share it with you!” While this is just a little longer of a wait than anticipated, this does move the title’s launch closer to that of the consumer version of the Gear VR, which is set to arrive sometime surrounding Black Friday on 27th November 2015.

In a follow-up tweet Ustwo Games also revealed that the title isn’t compatible with the Galaxy Note 4 right now, though made it sound as if support could be added later down the line.

Land’s End is a first-person puzzle-based experience in which players explore a series of islands. VRFocus recently got to speak to Ustwo Games itself about the project as well as go hands-on with a pre-release version.

VRFocus will continue to follow Land’s End closely, reporting back with the latest updates on the title.
