In CDF Starfighter will be able to fly 6 different ships each with their own advantages and disadvantages.  Each ship is very different and certain ships are designed for specific roles. These are: Starfighter Type-Y, Assault Fighter, Heavy Starfighter, Scout, Heavy Gunship and Transport.

The game in its current alpha state supports the Oculus Rift DK2 head-mounted display (HMD), running on Oculus VR’s 0.8 software development kit (SDK). The studio has also said it will be aiming full VR compatibility with a variety of headset manufacturers by the time of release.

VRFocus will continue to follow the latest updates from MAG Studios on CDF Starfighter’s development and its progress on Kickstarter.
