Those following VRFocus will have seen plenty of coverage of upcoming virtual reality (VR) adventure videogame, Kôna, last week. An interview with developer Parabole rolled out along with a preview of the title taken from a non-VR version. Today, Parabole is back with a brand new trailer for the first episode in what is to be a series that makes up the full title, Kôna: Day One. Said trailer can now be seen below.

The footage, which lasts just over a minute, is the most in-depth look at the world of Kôna yet. It showcases snowy Northern Quebec, Canada, which players will explore in first-person as a Private Investigator named Carl Faubert. Hired to looking into vandalism in a rich industrialist’s summer home, Faubert arrives on the scene to find an entire community missing, and must search homes and more in order to find out what has happened to them.

Kôna: Day One is set to arrive early next year on PC with support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). The developer is also looking to bring the title to PlayStation VR at some point in the future. VRFocus will continue to follow Day One closely, reporting back with the latest updates on its progress.
