Steel Crate Games has created one of virtual reality’s (VR’s) most recognisable videogames with Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. This frantic party title is already available on the Gear VR and Oculus Rift head-mounted displays (HMDs), as well as standard monitors on PC. That of course begs the question: when is it coming to the HTC Vive? According to the developer, support isn’t too far off, and some additional features could even be implemented later on down the line.

Replying to VR comments over on Steam, the developer’s Brian Fetter noted that Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes‘ HTC Vive support is ‘coming soon’. Of course, the HTC Vive boasts its Room-Scale tracking system and a pair of position tracked controllers, and Steel Crate Games is looking to integrate these features ‘at a later time’. Anyone that wants to try the title on the HTC Vive now can access beta support for the kit using Steam’s betas tab.

For those that don’t know, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a party title in which teams work together to disarm bombs. One player wears a HMD and can actually see the bomb, which consists of several compartments that resemble puzzles. They must then describe these puzzles to other players who have a copy of a manual. They’ll locate these puzzle within this manual and work through the solutions together against a countdown timer. The title is also due for release on PlayStation VR in the future.
