Earlier today VRFocus brought you the news that HTC had announced an Accelerator Program for virtual reality (VR) development. Since the publication of that article, HTC has confirmed further details of the program, known as ‘Vive X’.

Vive X will offer developers various tools in order to help them develop VR projects primarily for the HTC Vive, however partnerships with other platforms has not been ruled out. Included in program will be base-level administration, such as accounting, finance, HR and legal advice, in order to allow developers to concentrate on what they do best: creating unique VR experiences.

The program will also offer access to experienced VR developers and VCs looking to invest in startup firms, though no specific individuals or companies have yet been announced.

Applications for the Vive X program are now open and available at the official website. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the Vive X program and other VR initiatives from HTC.
