The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is due to begin in less than a week and its looking to hold all sorts of announcements related to virtual reality (VR). The big names will be there and HTC has now revealed what it’ll be showcasing on the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD).

HTC will have two Vive demo bays running at E3 Live with three experiences to tryout, The Blu, TiltBrush, and Space Pirate Trainer. E3 Live is the consumer portion of E3 and so anybody with an E3 Live pass can access the demos.

For the main E3 event itself the company will have two separate locations running demonstrations. The first in the West Lobby of the Los Angles Convention Center will have the same three experiences as previously mentioned. While in the South Lobby by the entrance to the South Exhibit there will be two Vive demo bays, with one bay featuring experiences from a few of HTC’s developer partners and the other will be a mixed reality (MR) demo of Valve’s The Lab: Xortex. This area will only be accessible to those with an E3 pass. All the demos will be run on a first come, first serve basis on-site.

HTC seem to be making a major push over the summer to get more Vive’s out into the consumer field. Not only through events but recently the company announced that all purchases of the HTC Vive HMD via its website would now be shipped worldwide within 72 hours.
