One genre that’s been used to great effect by developers working on the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) has been art and creation. The headset has got quite a few creative applications available for it, including Tilt Brush, Modbox, SculptrVR and PaintLab. Due to arrive soon for the HMD is Kingspray Graffiti Simulator which takes a different approach to the scene.

All the previously aforementioned titles all work in 3D, being able to create in 3D then move around the object to see it from all angles. Where Kingspray Graffiti Simulator differs is that it keeps your design in 2D in an immersive world. As with real-life graffiti artists it’s all about taking a wall or some other flat area and adding your own creative flair.

As the trailer below showcases there’s a bunch of different locales to choose from and then a myriad of spray paint options to utilise. There’s also features including music/radio stations, time of day/day duration, a torch for clandestine night time work and sharing/screenshot options.

There’s no officially announced launch date or price but when it arrives on Steam VRFocus will bring you the details.
