ESL is the world’s largest eSports company, and it has now entered a deal with Jaunt, one of the bigger names in the virtual reality (VR) content creation world, which will ensure a series of VR documentaries on the gaming tournaments, starting with a World-Class League of Legends team.

The first documentary to come from this deal is CLG: Win Everythin’, which follows a team’s journey to the 2016 Intel Extreme Masters World tournament in Poland. Jaunt uses its technology and content creation specialities to capture the reality of how quickly eSports is growing, and is presenting it in a more engaging way to fans.

“We are pleased to bring ESL’s thrilling esports world to life in cinematic virtual reality for the first time,” said David Anderman, Chief Business Officer of Jaunt. “Virtual reality brings a whole new level of fan engagement to esports, prime for ESL’s audiences who want to connect with their favorite athletes and experience the pulse-racing thrills and live action of far-away tournaments.”

“We are extremely excited to continue our relationship with Jaunt,” said Michal Blicharz, VP of Pro Gaming at ESL. “The content that they will be producing at Intel Extreme Masters events is truly stunning, and will add an entirely new facet to the world of esports.”

CLG: Win Everythin’ looks deep into the daily routines of the team members in a six minute VR film who battle their way to the top of the leaderboard in League of Legends.

The documentary is currently available to watch in a multitude of different VR head-mounted displays (HMD) including the Cardboard, Gear VR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and even on 360 Desktop.
