Epic Games are currently hosting a day of mobile development talks at Github’s headquarters, San Francisco. Featured at the event, available to watch online via livestream, is a talk from CCP Shanghai discussing the forthcoming EVE Gunjack videogame.

The speaker session, entitled ‘Making of EVE Gunjack, A Mobile VR Experience’, will be presented by Ray Tran, Technical Director, CCP Games and Zhou Lin, Senior Technical Artist, CCP Games. Together they will offer a unique look into the development of Gunjack and detail design decisions that went into the upcoming videogame, including tech choices, art setup, and mission authoring.

Following in the footsteps of EVE Valkyrie, Gunjack is a spin-off title in the EVE Online universe designed specifically for virtual reality (VR) platforms. Built with Unreal Engine 4, Gunjack is expected to launch alongside the consumer edition of the Samsung Gear VR later this month.

The talk will take place at 9pm GMT and will be available to watch via the official Unreal Engine Twitch channel, http://twitch.tv/unrealengine. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Gunjack and other VR related speaker sessions hosted by Epic Games.
