COLOPL NI, the California based arm of COLOPL Inc., is set to launch its first virtual reality (VR) videogame this month. Cyberpong VR for the HTC Vive puts players in a head-to-head face off as they use their paddles to propel a ball aiming for their opponent’s goal.

Cyberpong VR integrates elements of racquetball, pinball and soccer, with the aim of giving VR gamers a socially engaging venue for two-player gameplay in real-time. The videogame’s single-player mode serves as a training ground as players direct balls to destroy a series of blocks while protecting the goal behind them to keep the ball from going out of play. When players move to multiplayer matches, they face a tougher challenge: defeating human opponents in head-to-head matches to level up their skills.

Set for release on 28th April 2016, Cyberpong VR is developed by COLOPL NI exclusively for the HTC Vive. VRFocus will bring you more coverage of Cyberpong VR very soon, including a review.
