The HoloLens Development has started shipping to pre-order customers throughout the US, and while Microsoft suggest that videogames aren’t the lead target for the head-mounted display (HMD) that hasn’t stopped some developers working on entertainment projects. One of the first out of the gate is Virtual World Arcade’s VR Jurassic World.

Developed as a Universal Windows App (UWA), VR Jurassic World is already available for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile devices. The HoloLens edition, currently available as a beta, allows users to move around their space while interacting with fearsome dinosaurs, such as the infamous tyrannosaurus rex.

Founded by former Program Manager for the HoloLens team at Microsoft, Jeremy Lam, Virtual World Arcade successfully ran a Kickstarter campaign last month for a HoloLens entertainment suite aimed at a public audience. VR Jurassic World acts as the team’s prototype experience for this on-location virtual reality (VR), and is available to download for free. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest from Virtual World Arcade.
