While there are a couple of months left to go of 2015, its never too early to plan ahead for those 2016 virtual reality (VR) events. Announced for February is the Vision 2016 Virtual and Augmented Reality Summit, a two day event aimed at developers of VR and augmented reality (AR) experiences.

The Vision 2016 Summit will feature tech leaders, design innovators, and visionaries from the VR and AR fields. Sessions will cover a broad range of topics, such as conceptual and practical design, technology deep dives, interface design, implementation and creation of full immersion through presence. With a variety of  hardware providers participating in the Vision 2016 Summit, attendees will have a chance to get on hand expert advice for their projects and find plenty of new networking opportunities.

The event is still looking for speakers, with those interested able to submit proposals on the Vision 2016 website. As well as the talks, there will also be the Vision VR/AR Awards, celebrating the best VR and AR experiences. It will be taking place at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in the heart of Hollywood, California, 10th – 11th February 2016, and super early bird tickets are currently available until 15th November 2015.

VRFocus will continue to follow the latest details on the Vision 2016 Virtual and Augmented Reality Summit, as they’re announced.
