Bank of America, in partnership with Visa, has created a 360-degree video, Travel Inside the Game to take fans of virtual reality (VR) and American football into the immersive centre of a New England Patriots practice. The content which can be viewed by anyone with an Android or iOS smartphone, launches today to coincide with the Patriots game and will be accompanied by a 10K giveaway of customized Google Cardboard viewers for fans at Gillette Stadium.

The 360 degree experience enables fans to travel onto the game field inside Gillette Stadium, into the training facility and onto the practice fields alongside some of their favourite players. The project has been built on STRIVR VR’s training platform, so you can get closer to the action.

For fans visiting both the Patriots FanZone pregame (located in Gillette Stadium Parking Lot 4A), and Gillette Stadium’s concourse (outside of Section 102 and 103) after kickoff, they will have the opportunity to grab one of the limited edition Google Cardboard viewers. Look out for a Visa brand ambassador for a chance to enjoy the experience. And for those without a compatible smartphone or desktop browser (Chrome or Firefox), access to the video can be found at visa.com/bofa360.

VRFocus will continue to follow all the latest news on Google Cardboard and VR, reporting back any further announcements.
