With Oculus Rift launching next week and the HTC Vive the week after, virtual reality (VR) events from now on will have a whole new perspective, showcasing products that consumers will be able to buy. The Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 was the last big show before the headsets arrival, and the Silicon Valley Virtual Reality (SVVR) 2016 Expo will be one of the first afterwards. SVVR has now announced that tickets have gone on sale for the April show.

The SVVR Expo is a big three day event held at the San Jose Convention Center, California. Sponsors for the show include Nvidia, Perception Neuron, Vizuality Studio, Video Stitch and High Fidelity. No exhibitors have been announced but submissions are open.

Full conference pass early bird tickets are available for $350 USD, while VIP early bird tickets will cost $595.00 USD. These prices run until 31st March, after which they’ll go up to the standard price of $450 and $695 respectively. There’s also a Friday-only expo pass, early bird price of $60 until the same date as above, regular price of $75 after that.

VRFocus will continue it coverage of SVVR 2016 Expo, reporting back with the latest exhibitor announcements.
