Broken Window Studios has revealed that its virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame Reflections, which is being demoed at IndieCade 2015 this weekend will feature eye tracking for the event. The title will feature Tobii’s EyeX technology so that attendees at the event can play Reflections with their eyes.

Reflections is a real-world adventure videogame where every action you take has meaningful consequences that radically shape the experience. Built upon Broken Window Studios’ Storyteller Engine, Reflections takes a new approach to story in which everything you do can be woven into a narrative that drastically changes. The player’s actions will have a visible affect on the world around them.

The inclusion of Tobii’s eye tracking technology adds an extra level of immersion to the title which supports the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). None of the three main HMD manufacturers, Oculus VR, HTC/Valve and Sony Computer Entertainmnet (SCE) currently include eye tracking with their headsets, but Starbreeze Studios will be bringing the technology to its StarVR HMD.

Broken Window Studios was founded in 2014 after a successful Kickstarter funding campaign for the developers flagship title, Grave.

The IndieCade 2015 festival will be taking place in Culver City, California, from 23rd – 25th October 2015, and VRFocus will continue to report on all the latest VR news and updates from the event.
