In the run up to the consumer shipping of the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) there have been many tweaks made to launch-ready video games, ensuring solid content. Although already solid as a video game, the selection of playable cars for Slightly Mad Studios’ racing simulator, Projects CARS, has grown more so with the latest DLC released yesterday, compatible with the Oculus Rift HMD.

The latest DLC, the US Race Car Pack, features five new cars including: the high perfoming and multi-race winning Corvette C7.R GTE which was co-designed by Tommy Milner, two-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner, who helped recreate its driving dynamics within the game; a 2016 Ford Fusion NASCAR stock car; the Cadillac ATS-V.R GT3; Dallara DW12 IndyCar; and an Aston Martin GT12. As well as these cars, it was also tweeted on the title’s official account that there is also a free Community Liveries Pack to be had.

The DLC was available from yesterday and the Steam version can be found here at £2.89 GBP.
