Following the past week’s public exhibition at Gamescom, Cologne, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has unveiled a new tour for PlayStation VR coming to Europe. Though no dates or location have yet been revealed, SIE is inviting interested consumers to register their details now with the promise of updates when an opportunity arrives in their area.

The PlayStation VR is set to launch later this year and the general consensus with the technology is that it must be tried to be believed. It’s clear that SIE agree with this sentiment, offering hands-on opportunities to consumers despite day-one pre-orders having already sold out internationally.

To register your interest in getting hands-on with PlayStation VR, visit the newly launched PlayStation VR Events website and fill out the required form. Applicants must be over 12 years of age to apply, and those under 16 must bring a parent or guardian with them to any proposed events.

Once the registration form has been completed a survey is offered, enquiring about videogame formats already owned, when you typically purchase new videogames and your interest in social gaming; either on- or offline.

PlayStation VR Tour Coming to Europe

Once the process has been completed any existing events in your area will be offered to you (for example, in the UK both insomnia58 and EGX are presented) with an opportunity to book a hands-on demo. If there are any currently in your area you can book an event immediately. If not, you will be contacted when more are announced.

The PlayStation VR will launch on 13th October 2016, and VRFocus has prepared a PlayStation VR launch guide to ensure you have everything you need to prepare for the debut of virtual reality on videogame consoles.
