Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has made every effort to allow the public the opportunity to get hands-on with the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD) over the last few months, and 2016 looks set to be no different. The next public outing for the PlayStation 4’s virtual reality (VR) platform will be the Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016, 14th – 16th January 2016, held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

While the PlayStation VR HMD has been confirmed to be playable at the event, no software titles have yet been revealed. No new announcements are expected at the event, so it’s very likely that the line-up of PlayStation VR software for the Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016 will be similar to that which was on show at PlayStation Experience, San Francisco, earlier this month. This included the likes of RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and EVE: Valkyrie.

Other PlayStation 4 titles confirmed for the event include Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Star Wars: Battlefront and Driveclub‘s Bikes addition. The latter of these titles has been showcased as a PlayStation VR compatible title, though again there’s currently no confirmation as to whether or not it will be shown on the HMD at the Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016.

Tickets for the Bahrain Gaming Experience 2016 are available now via the event’s official website and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest public outings for the PlayStation VR HMD.
