PlayStation Posts Full VR Paris Games Week Panel Online

The 2015 PlayStation Experience may still be fresh in the mind, but Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) recently hosted another showcase for its content at the 2015 Paris Games Week back in October. There, the company hosted a panel on its upcoming virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD), PlayStation VR. The company had released excerpts of this panel before but this week has revealed the full talk, which can now be seen below.

Hosted by Kotaku’s Keza MacDonaled, the panel features the usual suspects of PlayStation VR promotion including SCE’s Head of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, SCE London’s David Ranyard, Guerrilla Cambridge’s Piers Jackson, Media Molecule’s Anton Mikhailov, and Supermassive Games’ Simon Harris. They talk about a wide range of subjects such as how VR has evolved over the years, the power of certain types of VR experiences, and how it will impact the industry in the years to come.

Collectively, these studios are responsible for upcoming PlayStation VR titles like RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, Dreams, and demos like London Heist. They represent a large part of PlayStation VR’s line-up of software, then.

PlayStation VR will be launching in the first half of 2016. VRFocus will continue to follow the kit closely, reporting back with the latest updates on it.
