It’s been a long time coming but now the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) has today launched onto the publics hands. There’s lots of videogames, 360-degree videos and photos to choose from and experience for the first time on the brand new device. On of the launch titles is Pinball FX2 VR from developer Zen Studios, and to compliment the videogames arrival is a brand new trailer.
Combining old school entertainment with the latest up-to-date virtual reality (VR) technology, Pinball FX2 VR mixes the two together with interactive pinball cabinets that come to life. The trailer features a plush apartment with three machines available, achievements section and leaderboards to compete against friends and everyone else.
The three tables each have a theme: Mars, Secrets of the Deep, and Epic Quest and when playing characters from the cabinets appear in and around the area. Head over to the VRFocus review of Pinball FX2 VR to see what we think of it.
