Happy New Year! (Is it too late to say that?)

We’re starting 2024 with a Pano2VR update and an Object2VR webinar.

Pano2VR 7.0.9

This is a bug-fix release that targeted the following issues:

  • the cache buster is no longer applied to external URLs (tel:, mailto:)
  • changing nodes via a node hotspot no longer breaks animation auto-rotation
  • the error log window is now adjustable
  • fixed a number of sound-related issues

We have also added support for the new kid on the block, Apple’s Vision Pro. So, for those of you lucky to be receiving a Vision Pro this week, do realize it is basic support. You’ll need to enable WebXR in the browser and for now there is no gesture control, but rather stare navigation.

As always, check for updates in Pano2VR or download and install manually.

Object2VR 4 Webinar | Adding Popups

Join us to learn about Object2VR’s new, powerful Skin Editor. You’ll learn how to build popups using Variables and Custom Properties. The webinar will be Wednesday, January 31st and begins at 17:00 CET/UTC+1.

We do recommend watching our last webinar, Building Skins, which introduced Actions, Placeholders, and Logic Blocks. We will also use these features in this webinar and assume everyone is familiar with them.

Of course we’re happy if you join us live to ask your questions, but if you can’t make it we will be posting the video later.

See what we’ll be building and register here.

Did you know…

…that you can overlay a floor plan on to a map?

If your floor plan is geolocated, choose Floor Plan Overlay in the Map Element’s Map settings. Then choose the appropriate floor plan. On output, both the floor plan and the map will be visible and interactive.
