Owlchemy Labs has to be one of the most experienced developers in the virtual reality (VR) industry right now. The developer was one of the first to support both the Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard head-mounted displays (HMDs) with Aaaaaculus! and Caaaaardboard! respectively, and also got the chance to work on the HTC Vive HMD before most other studios with its upcoming project, Job Simulator. With that new title now approaching launching, VRFocus sat down with studio CEO Alex Schwartz to talk about the project.

In the interview below Schwartz talks about the development of Job Simulator, which should be releasing alongside the HTC Vive in April 2016. He explains the differences that players will encounter between this version and the upcoming edition for the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR. There’s even talk of the possibility of more jobs in the future, perhaps as DLC, to complement the five that will be on offer at launch.

Stay tuned to VRFocus for the latest updates on Job Simulator.
