Virtual reality (VR) is one of the technology buzzwords at the moment. More and more people are experiencing the possible virtual future with VR including politicians. French President Francois Hollande tried VR in a recent trip to Seoul, South Korea, and now Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London got to sample the tech on a business trip to Israel.

In the video below, recorded by the BBC, Johnson tries out a VR experience where he’s a dog. Initially thinking he’s a cat, he then realises he’s a dog a says the experience is “superb”. Asking “What’s the point of this” a woman responds saying “It’s to show people different perspectives”. Its not clear which developer created the VR experience or what the title could be. The demo is being shown on an Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD).
