Next month sees the London Games Festival get underway in the UK capital city. The event runs every year and hosts a deeper look into the videogame industry, from development to culture and beyond. With virtual reality (VR) technology currently a hot topic in the videogame industry, then, you’d expect it to play a role at this year’s show. As it turns out, that will indeed be the case; a VR Summit will be held at the festival in the coming weeks.

The summit will take place on 4th April 2016 at the BFI Southbank Centre. A short description for it reads: “The VR Summit will look at where the roads of games, film and VFX collide with talks from experts across all three fields showcasing the hottest new games and discussing the issues presented by the resurgent virtual reality space.” A Games Audio Summit, Games Finance Summit, eSports Summit and Games Culture Summit will also be held throughout the event.

Tickets to London Games Festival are available now via an official website. Stay tuned to VRFocus for more on the event.
