Welcome back to another new week at VRFocus . We ended last week with cars, classic cars and plenty of them and we’re sticking with something of a transport theme to begin this week; but with a bit of sport thrown in. We’re not on the roads either but on the open waters of Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
Courtesty of Tribune de Genève we’re heading out amongst the Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2016. Now it’s quite like you’ve not heard of this competition, however the Bol d’Or Mirabaud is a regatta. First run in 1939, it is often thought to be the most important regatta in the world, or at least the most important to take place within an inland lake. Covering a course of 66.5 nautical miles from Geneva to Le Bouveret and back again over 500 boats of all classifications take part.
