Insomniac Games already has a line up of virtual reality (VR) titles such as Feral Rites and The Unspoken that are still yet to come out. But the first VR title to be developed by the studio, Edge of Nowhere, is ready to launch this Monday, and now it has a trailer to give a real look into what the horror is able to offer as a full VR videogame.

The trailer featured below is cinematic preview of Edge of Nowhere, and it gives a glimpse into some of the thrilling scenes and obstacles the player is to come across when playing. It is comprised of gameplay that sticks with you and gives the sense of how hopeless and isolated the player is in the third person horror title, including desolate snowy land, dark caves with hanging bodies calling out for help, and oversized monsters ready to overpower and crush you. The launch trailer builds up tension as more horrific features are revealed, and adds much more depth to the screenshots that have been released for the title.

Edge of Nowhere is the first VR title from Insomniac, and with Feral Rites, a narrative heavy combat title with the mix of humans and beefed up animals, as well as The Unspoken, an urban magic title where the player engages in a wizard fight club to climb the ranks, the studio has a variety to offer to the VR market. These two additional titles can be expected to be on the Oculus Rift and will come out later this year.

The title will be available on 6th June, and it is an exclusive title for the Oculus Rift on the Oculus Store, so keep an eye out for further developments.
