Insta360 updated their app and introduced several new features. One was the Direction Lock. It’s a pretty cool feature that you can use to keep the point of view fixed even during camera rotation. Prior to the Direction Lock, the best way to track a path is to use the View Finder Free Capture mode. This can take a bit more time. It’s soooo much easier and faster with Direction Lock. All the Free Capture modes are still available.

I personally love this feature.

Thanks!

Note: As of this video I am not sponsored by Insta360 One and purchased the camera all by my lonesome. Was curious about 360 cameras after years of just looking. The software available to shoot now, point later / choose your point of view later was what really interested me.
