For HTC Vive owners with a fondness for all things magic and wizardry, Aldin Dynamics latest virtual reality (VR) title should suit just fine. VRFocus has followed Waltz of the Wizard on a regular basis since its unveiling earlier this year and now the title has officially launched on Steam for free.

Taking inspiration from films such as the popular Harry Potter series, Waltz of the Wizard immerses players in a world where they have magical powers. Collect ingredients to mix up and discover spells in a boiling cauldron, then go out into the world to test out your new skills.

Currently Waltz of the Wizard only supports the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD), but further platforms could be supported in the future. Aldin Dynamics is experimenting with both Oculus Touch controllers and PlayStation VR, but currently has yet to confirm if the videogame will be ported over to either system.

Waltz of the Wizard is the developers third VR title so far, with the previous two being Asunder: Earthbound and Twisted Realms. Asunder: Earthbound was the debut title for the studio on the Oculus Rift HMD while Twisted Realms launched on Samsung’s Gear VR headset back in October 2016.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of Aldin Dynamics, reporting back with any new project announcements.
