It is only just over a week until this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, and there are already a select few big virtual reality (VR) names that will be attending this year. It has now been announced that two more juggernauts of the VR industry is going to be coming along: HTC and AMD.

HTC will be there with the Vive, as well as “a host of new Vive content” at the HTC and AMD joint booth. There will be six Vive demo stations, including a mixed reality booth which also featured during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

As well as these two big companies, Oculus VR and Samsung are also confirmed for Gamescom. There are also four talks that are all based on VR and augmented reality (AR) by various German organisations and established speakers.

Ubisoft is revealed its VR line up, including the much talked about and anticipated Eagle Flight and Star Trek Bridge Crew available for hands-on demos, as well as other non VR demos that have made the studio what it is now.

HTC and AMD aren’t only going to be sticking to their joint booth during Gamescom as they can also be spotted with Alternate, Caseking, Gigabyte, HP, and Medion.

If you are wanting to book a space to try out one of the Vive demos, attendees can go to the booth during the morning to book a slot. As well as the demos, Vive and AMD are also running a number of competitions during Gamescom, and they will be advertised on both of its social media pages.
