It’s been a short while since we’ve last heard from narayana games on its upcoming virtual reality (VR) dancing title, Holodance. The title failed to achieve an IndieGoGo crowd-funding campaign goal of $15,000 USD last year, but it appears that work on the title is still going on. To that end, narayana games has recently launched a brand new trailer for the title that reveals it is now going to be episodic. The first episode appears to be titled Holodance Episode 1: Dancing with Dragons.

The new footage, which lasts nearly three minutes in total, can be seen below. In it, the player can be seen using the Room Scale user-tracking technology found in both the upcoming HTC Vive and Oculus Rift head-mounted displays (HMDs), though it’s the former that appears to be in use here. Players stand in a grid that seemingly represents the limits of their user-tracking and must use the respective HMD’s motion controllers to bat away orbs that approach them. In the first half of the trailer these orbs are fired by a dragon.

Holodance is also on its way to the PlayStation VR HMD on PlayStation 4. It’s not yet clear when the first episode will launch on any of these systems, nor how many episodes are planned in total. For the latest on the title, keep reading VRFocus.
