The Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 is almost at an end with only Friday left to go, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few surprises left in store. Newly announced for the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) is a virtual reality (VR) role-playing game (RPG) called Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel from indie development studio, Indimo Labs.

Indimo Labs is run by Kelly Bailey, who previously worked for HTC Vive collaborator Valve as Senior Game Designer of Sound and Music for one of its most famous videogame franchises, Half-Life. Very little is currently known about the title, aside from that Bailey is currently working on it by himself and that he plans to launch through Steam Early Access on the headset launch day on 5th April.

VRFocus will be getting a hands-on with Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel while at GDC 2016 and you can expect that for our preview of the videogame will be up shortly afterwards. In the meantime VRFocus will continue to bring you all the latest news from GDC 2016 as announcements are made.
